Congratulations to Damien Eyre for his HUGE achievement at the State Swim, Challenge Stadium, last weekend. Damo was the Male Winner in his age group, 35 – 39, through scoring 60 points out of a possible 60 points for the 6 individual events he entered:
· 200 m freestyle
· 200 m backstroke
· 200 m butterfly
· 100 m breaststroke
· 100 m backstroke
· 50 m backstroke.
In addition, Damo swam in the mixed freestyle relay and the ‘Have a Go News’ relay, and still had time to encourage and motivate the rest of the team.
This is a fantastic achievement. Well done!!!
